ThyssenKrupp Northern Elevator is part of the ThyssenKrupp Elevator North American manufacturing operations. We produce elevator components and packaged systems for new installations, modernizations and retrofits of all types. Our market is throughout the United States, Canada,  Mexico, the Caribbean and Australia.

Our strength lies in our engineering and manufacturing flexibility. We manufacture wide range of standard passenger elevators with capacities ranging from 2,100 to 6,000 lb capacities and speeds up to 800 fpm and custom panoramic and freight elevators with capacities up to 30,000lbs.

Geared overhead, basement and side mount applications that require custom engineering is Northern Elevator's specialty. Major projects include the Oakland Coliseum, San Francisco Airport, Toronto Airport and the Hewlett Packard building at Toronto.

Modernization and components make up one-third of the business. Hydraulic and Traction controllers, geared machines  with various mechanical components  and Fixtures complement our broad range of elevator products.

Notable modernization projects include Yale, Harvard, Purdue and Wisconsin Universities, Boston's Deaconess and Atlanta's Children Hospitals, Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and Co-Op City in the Bronx, New York.
